A.T. Still University offers this transitional D.P.T. program that is designed for practicing physical therapists already holding a bachelor?s degree or master?s degree who wish to enhance their skills and professional status. The length of each student?s program of study depends upon their current level of education, experience, and skills as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association?s ?Normative Model of Physical Therapist Professional Education, Version 2000? and a possible evaluation using the Physical Therapist Evaluation Tool (PTET). A ten course, 22-credit plan of study is available for recent U.S. graduates holding a master?s degree. The program uses the Internet to provide frequent, high-quality peer/faculty interaction. All course information is posted on the Internet web site, a centralized interface gateway for students, instructors, facilitators, and program administrators. |
