Teachers know the specific subjects that they teach as well as, how to teach those subjects effectively to students. Additionally, they are responsible for managing and monitoring student learning, and are committed to their students and their learning. Teachers, who are considering the National Board concentration, think systematically about their practice and learn from experience, they are often members of learning communities. The Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction program is designed to help teachers align their career goals with a degree that will help them transition from teachers into educating professionals.
