The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program is designed to help prepare students to pursue a variety of positions in the field of business while incorporating communication skills, critical thinking, and technical competencies required in the modern workplace. Study to acquire a breadth of knowledge that provides a foundation appropriate for work in the field.* Students may personalize their degree by choosing a career focus area. Career focus areas allow you to focus your elective choices on a specific area of study that best fits your desired career path. Choose the new media/Internet marketing career focus area if you are interested in studying digital media marketing including Web 2.0 and social networking, search engine and email marketing, the management of digital customer data, and electronic customer relationship management systems. Interested in a fast track to earning an MBA? The accelerated MBA option is a grouping of eight undergraduate courses that you complete as part of your bachelor's degree. If you successfully complete these courses with a minimum course grade, and have applied and been accepted to the Kaplan University Master of Business Administration program, you will be allowed entry into a shortened version of the MBA program. Qualification for the accelerated MBA option is subject to eligibility requirements. *Kaplan University's programs are designed to prepare graduates to pursue employment in their field of study, or in related fields. However, the University does not guarantee that graduates will be placed in any particular job, eligible for career advancement opportunities, or employed at all. Additional training or certification may be required. |
